Welcome to the Old Stone House in Hasbrouck, New York!
Many of you who joined us
last May for
the opening reception of our "Garage Art"
fund-raising art show know it was the wackiest, most talked-about exhibition
in the area, with discarded (that's a polite word for
"dumped") art rescued from the trash heap, and put up for
adoption on our gallery walls.
And we continued an extraordinary
season of art exhibits and other special events throughout last summer
and autumn, including
works by fabulous local photographer
Amanda La Hanko in June, in a reprise of her extremely well-received 2010
show. That was followed in July by the incredible images of local
photographer Louis Jawitz.
Then in August came a display of
images from a host of top photographers, both local
and from around the country.
September's exhibition was an
array of works from nine area artists, one piece more exquisite than the
next. And there were numerous
events in the outdoor pavilion, too.
Now we're in the final stages
of putting together our 2012 exhibition season, with a stellar art show
already scheduled for August, plus a Spring Play going on stage in
April. Click here for details.
There's always something going on at the Old Stone House. Come visit, and
you'll see
for yourself. You'll be delighted!
