Join
us on a journey of self discovery through art journaling. This series of
classes will offer an opportunity to explore your inner world through
mixed media art of collage, drawing, painting, and anything else you can
imagine. No art experience is necessary, just a desire to explore your
own creativity. First class is free, subsequent classes cost $10 to
cover supplies and a donation to support the Old Stone House.
For details, Call 436-7220
or e-mail Paulina at design@simplepea.com

The Art of Spontaneous Self-Expression
Teacher: Judy Schafman
Students will explore a variety of
approaches, including music, movement, adventures in nature, daily life
experiences including sorrows and joys, to access their own inner
imagery. Self expression then flows via pastel, water color, and tempera
and acrylic mediums. The new classes will meet the 2nd and 4th
Mondays of the month. Call Judy at 845-436-6167 before attending (not a
walk-in class.) Hours are 6:30 pm-8:30 pm and cost is $25.00 per
session. Bring your own
favorite art supplies.
About the teacher: Judy is a
clinical psychologist and teacher, and has spent many years supporting
people in accessing their dreams and creativity.
